Design:

The design concept by EXS Design, a leading architecture and interior design firm in Dubai, draws inspiration from the brand’s relaxed yet modern ethos. Focused on enhancing customer experience, the café interior design brings together form and function with a clean, cohesive aesthetic. The interiors balance contemporary minimalism with warm textures and natural materials, creating a visually calm yet engaging atmosphere that defines the brand’s spatial identity.

Planning:

The planning of the café focused on creating distinct zones that cater to varied customer needs while maintaining a cohesive design language. The layout includes counter and counter seating, relaxed banquette seating, a dedicated work zone, a high-chair area, and flexible arrangements with two- and four-seater tables. Each zone was designed to function independently while blending seamlessly into the overall spatial flow.
As part of commercial interior design in Dubai, careful attention was given to circulation and comfort, ensuring the space supports both high-traffic and relaxed moments. Pops of greenery were thoughtfully introduced throughout, adding a touch of calm and refreshing colour to the environment.

Brand Image:

The design intent was to craft a space that feels light, airy, and inviting—an atmosphere that encourages customers to linger. Comfort and casual warmth were at the forefront of the design vision.
Muted yet richly textured finishes define the flooring and furniture, creating depth and visual interest. Light wood tones, bamboo pendant lights, and curved organic niches infuse the space with a cozy, approachable charm. Together, these elements create a café that feels both contemporary and intimate—reflecting EXS Design’s expertise in hospitality interior design and its focus on creating human-centered, experiential spaces.

Sustainability:

Aligned with EXS Design’s commitment to sustainable interior design in Dubai, the café incorporates eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient lighting and HVAC systems to minimize environmental impact. The design integrates locally sourced finishes where possible, and operational strategies emphasize waste reduction and resource efficiency. These choices not only support People’s Café’s sustainability goals but also reflect EXS Design’s broader approach to responsible design within the UAE’s evolving commercial landscape.
