Overview:
Designing the headquarters for a shipping and logistics company in Jeddah offered an opportunity to create a space that physically and visually reflects the company’s essence: movement, precision, and global connection. At EXS Design, an integrated interior and architecture company in Dubai, the concept was rooted in a thoughtful office interior design approach that draws inspiration from the sea. Flowing forms, coastal hues, and layered materials were introduced to echo both the brand’s operations and its environment. With our experience as commercial space designers in Dubai, we ensured the design not only conveyed the company’s identity but also enhanced functionality, creating a workplace that inspires collaboration and efficiency.

Design
The design concept draws from the rhythm of the sea, translating movement and fluidity into the office interior design language. Curved partitions, organic ceiling patterns, and wave-inspired textures bring dynamism to the workspace interiors while ensuring functionality. Coastal tones—blues, greys, and sandy neutrals—set a calm yet professional atmosphere that resonates with the shipping industry’s maritime roots. By focusing on modern office interiors and commercial interior design, the space reflects both brand identity and employee well-being, balancing aesthetics with efficiency.

Planning
The planning strategy focuses on creating efficient workflows while maintaining a sense of openness. Dedicated zones for collaborative meetings, executive offices, and quiet workstations are seamlessly integrated, ensuring flexibility for future growth. Clear circulation paths mirror the precision of logistics operations.

Brand Image
The interiors act as an extension of Sea Lead’s brand identity, global, agile, and connected. Design elements such as layered glass walls, nautical-inspired lighting, and map-like floor patterns subtly highlight the company’s expansive reach and operational expertise. The space becomes a physical representation of the brand’s commitment to precision, innovation, and trust.

Sustainability
Sustainable design was embedded from the start, with energy-efficient lighting and optimized natural daylighting strategies. Locally sourced materials reduce the project’s carbon footprint, while modular furniture ensures adaptability for the future. The office not only reflects Sea Lead’s environmental responsibility but also enhances employee well-being through healthier indoor air quality and biophilic design elements.
