Category: Residence
Area: 400 sq.m
Location: Dubai
Overview:
Embracing the essence of local context in design is at the very heart of innovation. Spaces truly come alive when they reflect their surroundings while offering timeless comfort and style. Textured tranquility in a neutral palette—where subtle tones and tactile details create a symphony of calm and sophistication—sets the foundation for interiors that feel both contemporary and enduring.
Equally important is well-thought-out site planning in architecture, which ensures that the design doesn’t just look beautiful but also works seamlessly with its environment. From harnessing natural elements such as sunlight, orientation, and topography, to carefully analyzing the evolving needs of future occupants, every decision contributes to the functionality, aesthetics, and long-term success of a project.
At EXS Design, this integrated approach—balancing materiality, context, and planning—guides how we create spaces that are not only visually stunning but also deeply connected to the lifestyle they serve.

Planning:
The 60° House represents a revolutionary approach to residential planning- one that redefines architectural aesthetics by harmonizing cultural relevance with modern living. Designed as a futuristic home, it integrates the principles of the Golden Ratio with flexible layouts that respond to familial needs, locational context, and resource efficiency. The spatial composition is both functional and poetic, offering adaptable environments that grow with their inhabitants. By weaving cultural integrity with design innovation, the planning creates a home that is visually iconic, deeply contextual, and future-ready.
Brand image:
Rooted in the values of its owner, the 60° House reflects deep pride in Emirati culture, tradition, and national identity. The architecture honors these values through spatial warmth, hospitality-focused planning, and a thoughtful balance between privacy and openness. It embodies a spirit of hard work, determination, and familial strength.
Sustainability:
Incorporates a range of passive and active strategies to ensure high environmental performance. Punctures in the built form are designed to create a funnel effect that enhances natural ventilation, while shaded walkways and landscaped seating areas connect indoor and outdoor zones, promoting thermal comfort and social interaction. A dynamic twisted façade functions as a secondary skin, equipped with photovoltaic cells that track the sun’s path, maximizing solar energy capture while regulating interior temperatures through shading and controlled daylight. The increased thermal mass further stabilizes the indoor climate, reducing reliance on mechanical systems. Altogether, the house blends responsive design and renewable technology to create a sustainable and future-forward living environment.
